We mainly know the 'helicopter' of the maple as a child. Throwing them off roofs with hands full and watching them enchantingly, how they come down like propellers.
The leaf is recognizable and has a high ornamental value. Especially in the fall. The leaf is also used in the national Canadian flag.
For this design I chose to experiment with new filling surfaces. You can see that the areas red and yellow have a grid pattern.
This design is embroidered with a low embroidery density. As a result, the underlying fabric is partly visible. The idea behind it is to extend 'transparency' all the way through to the design as a sustainable brand.
